Support Unit
There are currently 7 support classes: 6 Multicategorical (MC) support classes, and 1 Mild Intellectual Disability support class.
These classes provide substantial support for students who have a variety of additional learning needs including students with Intellectual or Physical disabilities, Autism diagnosis and Mental Health conditions. The classes have a capped maximum number and are staffed by a full-time teacher and Student Learning Support Officer. Staff deliver individualised and targeted programs framed in a consultative model ensuring all stake holders are involved in the development of the student program. Stakeholders include students, parents/carers, specialist therapists, as well as Department of Education staff.
