'Sentral for Parents' will enable families to easily:
- Make payments directly for school excursions & incursions
- Explain past and upcoming student absences
- Receive urgent notification messages from the school
'Sentral for Parents' has many additional functions that may be activated in the future. Some of these may include, viewing the school newsletter and calendar of events, student reports and uploading notes for permission and payment.
It is important to note, this is a school wide system mainly designed for payments and absences and at this stage will not replace communication from the classroom teacher. For now, the teachers using Class Dojo for communicating directly with parents/carers will continue to do so, as will people communicating via email or other messaging apps.
'Sentral for Parents' can be accessed via the Sentral for Parents App on a mobile phone or tablet or the Sentral for Parents Portal on a PC or laptop. The information is the same on both platforms. Below are the two ways you can register an account:
'Sentral for Parents' App
1. Download the 'Sentral for Parents' app on your Smartphone/Tablet. The app is available on both Android and Apple (iPad/iPhone) devices.
2. Search for Mudgee Public School.
3. Click Register Here to register a new account. You will receive a verification email which MUST be verified in order to continue.
4. Once verified, log back into the app and enter the following access key: contact office for this code. (The access key is case sensitive so copy it exactly as it appears.) OR
'Sentral for Parents' Portal
1. Log on to the Internet and register at this address: https://mudgeeps.sentral.com.au/portal/register
2. You will receive a verification email which MUST be verified in order to complete the registration process.
3. Once successfully registered you will then need to log in to the website (https://mudgeeps.sentral.com.au/portal) using the account you just created.
4. Now that you are logged in, the last step is to link your child/ren to your account using the access key provided below. Go to "My Access" down the left hand side and enter the access key there. Your access key is: contact office for this code. (The access key is case sensitive so copy it exactly as it appears.)
Note:
• You only need to register once and then you will be able to log in on either the App or the Portal.
• Each access key is single-use, if you would like another person to be able to link to your child/ren you will need to contact the school and request an extra access key.
